Free Planet - poem - I want to help you because...I want to help you because...
You push past your fellow humans on the underground: devolved, hopeless.
You don't seem to know who you are.
Yet your eyes beg for assistance.
I want to help you because...
You yell at your subordinates in board meetings; bored, developmentally challenged.
You don't seem to know why you bother coming to work every day.
Yet your eyes are hollow, unconcerned with your own demise.
I want to help you because...
You never have any time for your kids.
You don't respect your wife.
Yet your eyes are hungry for something elusive: spontaneous, non-regimented, fun.
I want to help you because...
You have forgotten that YOUR GOD has given you free will - you are not a prisoner.
You don't seem to realize that anything you do he/she/it will love you more than anything could possibly love you.
Yet your eyes are blind to reality.
I want to help you because...
You are dead to each other, dead to yourself, responsive only to the whip or the fine or the threat of punishment.
You don't seem to appreciate all the freedoms that you have lost in the pursuit of Society.
Yet your eyes, your eyes are so beautiful - a dream shimmering at the teary edge.
I want to help you because...
You could learn to love again.
You don't seem totally ruined by Commercial Pressures.
Yet your eyes.
Yet your minds.
Yet your souls.
Yet your future is there, within your grasp: just raise your hands and feel.
I want to help you live...
