God can't speak for himself?
So, two thousand years ago, according to the Bible, according to the Koran, according to a plethora of 'religious texts yet to be folded into the bi-partisan mix', some beardy omnipotence in the holy sky tore off a reflection/refraction/hologram of his eternal multi-dimensional self, named him My Only Son Jesus and ushered him forward as a Ritual Sacrifice for the sake of Mankind's Absolution in the Endtimes to come.Screech of narrative brakes!!!
What? Wait a minute. An all-powerful, everywhere-everything throne-seated deity in the clouds, in Heaven, in Space, wherever you think this beardy thing lives, whatever you think he might have Created in Seven Days, sacrifices his only son for our sake? What? He can produce 'only one son' not very all-powerful of him... unless it's one of those one-shot Monsanto GM Gods. I digress.
But this 'wise all-seeing genius' knows all, penetrates all, is all, right? It's what the Holy Books tell us. Nothing gets through the needle of his eye. He gave us Free Will (as the story goes) and yet (and yet) he allowed his only son (the only one he is able to produce, for some reason) to be flayed and flogged and thorned and nailed to death. For what? For this? For modern Earth, two thousand years later where he would have (must have!) seen what the death of his sole progeny would effect. Seven billion corporate slaves. Countries ruined for PROFIT. Oceans, forests, wildlife, fisheries, Nature all decimated so that Human Slums in the name of Industrial Revolution (read, Mechanical Insurgency and Slavery to Robotics) could pollute and ravage His Paradise.
He'd allow this? He'd give up his son for this? I don't think so. Unless he's the Densest God that ever reigned over a species, whoever oversaw the inhabitants of a planet. Unless he was a God of Total and Utter Planetary Destruction. But look back through the History Books, the aftermath of Jesus' ritual slaughter, and what have we witnessed?
Nothing but Religious-led torture and mind control so that WE LOVE OUR GOD, or suffer the Inquisition of Blame. Christians are even BORN WITH SIN. I mean, come on, Organised Religion is like an evil-intentioned ORGANISM invented by some evil-scientist to destroy all that was once natural and living and fun. We're tied down by irrational rituals and nonsense dogmas and illogical beliefs. We're slaves to this Thought Police from the dusty trails once trod by the ranting herdsmen of the Fertile Crescent.
Organised Religion is just a HUGE NIGHTMARE that mankind has endured for long enough: wake up son, wake up daughter, wake up mother, wake up father. We have a job to do. We have a world to heal. We have a Free Planet to cultivate.
