Icelandic multi-instrumentalist and producer Ólafur Arnalds released his third studio album on Feb 25. Known for his neo-classical style in his melodies, Arnalds takes a bold step by introducing more color in For Now I Am Winter. The musician had toured with famous Icelandic group Sigur Rós in 2008, and has had his work featured in films and on television.
Universal Music Singapore has kindly offered one of the album’s tracks, ‘Old Skin’, as a free download. (Click here) Be sure to check out the new album as well as Arnalds’s previous works, which contain very lovely minimalist influences – this music video should be a good start.
