StoryThe story here follows the last remaining human survivors who return to Earth to fight Godzilla, who has taken over the planet. The movie takes us well into the future, the battle itself is 10,000 in the future which takes away any sort of confusion between the two different universes Godzilla is in right now. The preparation to the battle is the main focus which for the most part is good and fills the boxes you would expect to see from them, this helps show us just where the battle will take place and just what it means for the dwindling number of humans. For a Godzilla based movie this is great fun story showing us how deadly it can be.

Sci-FiThe sci-fi side of the film puts us in the future against Godzilla in a battle that puts us in the middle of a sci-fi monster movie.

SettingsThe film takes place partial in space and partial on a future Earth that has been destroyed after humans were forced to leave, the future look of the planet show how it could survive without humans being involved.

AnimationThe animation standard for this film is great quality, it plays into the modern computer version with have been used for the Resident Evil movies over the pure anime ones.

Scene of the Movie –
The battle.

That Moment That Annoyed Me The time jump is over dramatic.

Final ThoughtsThis is a fun sci-fi movie circling around Godzilla an icon of cinema, giving the opportunity to give us a bigger story without the mindless destruction the live action films give us.

Overall: Great beginning to a new Godzilla saga.
