It’s been a few slow news weeks in the dating industry. Not much going on in splitsville or, on the other end, celebrity get-togethers and new relationships. That back drop helps to explain the attempts at hyping an innocent shared dance and some silly play between Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx in East Hampton, NY in late August.
Apparently they were in attendance at the same event, shared a dance and some chit chat and goofed a bit- all of which led onlookers in search of something to get excited about- to start rumors that they are dating. For celebrities, the entire world’s a stage- and every nuanced interaction is put under a microscope, especially when there has been a shortage of recent break-ups, arrests, rumors of infidelity- and new romances among the rich and/or famous.
Besides not being her obvious “type,” there is quite an age difference and Foxx apparently has a girlfriend already. Well, this one might be false, but we can all take heart that sometime soon someone will give us a juicy tidbit or two to add some spice to our otherwise “average” lives.
