Four new State Ministers were sworn in before President Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the President’s House in Colombo, on Tuesday. MP Suren Raghavan – State Minister of Higher Education, MP Sadasivam Viyalendran – State Minister of Youth and Sports, Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan – State Minister of Rural Road Development, Mohammad Musharraf – State Minister of Textile and Local Apparel Production Promotion. The State Ministerial portfolio of Education Services and Reform of Dr. Suren Raghavan has been amended as State Minister of Higher Education.

MP Sadasivam Viyalendran taking oaths as State Minister of Youth and Sports Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan was also sworn in as State Minister of Rural Road Development.
Mohammad Musharraf is the State Minister of Textile and Local Apparel Production Promotion.
The State Ministerial portfolio of Education Services and Reform of Dr.Suren Raghavan has been amended as State Minister of Higher Education.
