Nokia has announced two new variants in its Lumia series and two affordable phones designed for internet-savvy and for beginners. The announcement was made during the World Mobile Congress in Barcelona, Spain.

Nokia Lumia 720
Nokia Lumia 520
Both the Lumia 720 and Lumia 520 are Windows 8 phones with 1GHz Dual-Core Snapdragon processor. Both phone’s memories are expandable up to 64GB, the biggest memory support for any phones today. The Lumia 720 being higher in specs than the Lumia 520 shall be sold starting from €249 (P13,238.62) before taxes and subsidies. It will soon begin selling in Hong Kong, Vietnam and Singapore in Q1 2013 before rolling out in China as well as Europe, Asia, Africa and India.
The Lumia 520 is priced much lower at €139 (P7,390.24) before taxes and subsidies. Shipping shall start in March with Hong Kong and Vietnam as its first destinations, but it will quickly spread to more markets around Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America.

Nokia 301
Nokia 105
Speaking of affordability, Nokia updated its line of featured phones with the entry of Nokia 301 and Nokia 105. Its most affordable email and internet access phone and most affordable phone to date respectively. The Nokia 301 shall be available starting in Q2 in more than 120 countries in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe, India, Middle East and Latin America. Suggested pricing is 65 Euro (P3,455.87) before taxes and subsidies. While the Nokia 105 is available for a suggested price of 15 Euro (P797.51) before taxes and subsidies. It will start rolling out in Q1 in China, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Nigeria, Russia, Vietnam and other markets in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Middle East.
