I’m doing a full Black Friday sales roundup later this week at Put This On, but some stores have already started their promotions. Four that I think are particularly good right now:
- East Dane: Low-key one of the best shops right now if you’re looking for a deal. At the moment, they have tiered discounts going up to 25% depending on how much you spend (use the code GOBIG16). That doesn’t sound terribly great until you see that some items have already been marked down by as much as 70% – and the code stacks. Some things I like: Drake’s ties and pocket squares; Howlin’ knitwear; long sleeved tees from Lemaire, Our Legacy, and Chimala; Robert Geller side zip boots and bomber jackets; olive-brown Our Legacy duffle coat; SNS Herning Stark cardigans (size up one); Brooks England Pickwick bag; Diemme hiking boots; Traditional Weatherwear quilted jackets; and breezy camp-collar shirts from Arpenteur and Monitaly.
- No Man Walks Alone: An advertiser on this site, but also hands down one of my favorite stores. Their Sartoria Formosa suits and sport coats are just about some of the best in ready-to-wear tailoring if you favor that classic Neapolitan look. I also like Eidos and Camoshita for more “classically styled” casualwear; then Stephan Schneider, Robert Geller, and Document for things that are a little edgier. This robe coat is one of my favorite purchases this season. Wear it with slim jeans, a henley, and grey side-zip boots. Also great: Frank Clegg bags, which are rarely discounted anywhere.
- Club Monaco: Their basic knitwear represents a great value, so long as you avoid the cashmere. These merino crewnecks and v-necks, for example, are just $56 when you use the checkout code WINTER16. And they hold up surprisingly well.
- Kiehl’s: A great shop for grooming products. Take $20 off orders over $65 with the checkout code JINGLE. I like their shampoos and moisturizers. These scrub soaps are also nice, and they last longer than your average bar of Dove. Comes in a discounted three-pack, although the code doesn’t apply there.
