Perched on a pole outside the Musée de l’air et de l’espace is this Magister in the colors of the Patrouille de France. This French jet trainer first flew in 1952 and served the French military into the 1980’s. Originating in 1931, the Patrouille de France is the world’s oldest flight demonstration team.  The team operated the Magister from 1964-1981 when they transitioned to the Alpha Jet.  Nikon D500 w/18-200mm, processed with Aperture.
