According to Officials on the scene, the shooting was accidental. It happened in a car with two men. One man was shot in the leg, he was treated at the scene and taken to the hospital in serious condition.
FWPD said the victim had bought a firearm at a nearby gun store and began to handle it in the car.
The gun discharged and he shot himself in the leg.
In Indiana they sell guns to just about anybody regardless of how stupid, irresponsible or unfit you may be. That's their idea of freedom.
