Anuradha Wijekoon, Secretary to the Sports and Youth Ministry

The Former Sport and Youth Affairs Ministry Secretary Anuradha Wijekoon has been reappointed for the same position last Tuesday. The well qualified senior Administrative officer Wijekoon handled the Sport Ministry secretary post very efficiently during his previous stint .
He also has good knowledge of working closely with the National Sport Council , National Olympic Committee as well as National Youth Services Council (NYSC) and the Sports Development Department.
The Secretary to the Sports and Youth Affairs Ministry, Anuradha Wijekoon earlier gave his services to the former Ministers Namal Rajapaksa and Thenuka Vidhanagamage. He has worked from August 2020 and this time he is working as Secretary to the Sports and Youth affairs Minister Roshan Ranasinghe.
Meanwhile, former Media Secretary to the Sports Minister Prasanna Adhikari once again will discharge his duty as the Media Secretary to the Sports Minister Roshan Ranasinghe. Adhikari, also an experienced Media secretary has served under several Cabinet Ministers. (D.R)
