Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa arrived in Thailand on Thursday, as he seeks temporary shelter there after he left Sri Lanka last month amid mass protests. He arrived in Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport around 8pm Bangkok time, via a charter plane from Singapore’s Seletar Airport earlier in the evening. Rajapaksa’s arrival in Bangkok comes as his visa in Singapore expires on the same day. (Agencies)
