Kanye's latest antisemitic display involves a comment that the Jews should forgive Hitler already.
Is forgiveness even possible? How can we forgive Hitler for genocide? And even if we could, on whose behalf can we forgive him? Who is the "Jews" that should forgive him? Should the Elders get together and issue a statement? Maybe Hitler needs to express some remorse first to earn the forgiveness?
How is this forgiveness thing supposed to work exactly?
And we Jews have a long memory. We havent forgiven Pharoah or Haman or the Crusaders or the Spanish Inquisition people.. This thing Kanye is demanding might be more of a Christian thing than a Jewish thing.
