Tokio 7 was established in 1995 by it's owner from Tokyo, Japan and we were recommended to go here from a fashionista we met at a vintage store in Brooklyn. You can't miss this shop with the huge metallic creature out the front, that looks like something out of terminator. Loyal customers come here to cruise the racks for second-hand designer apparel from Japanese labels like Issey Miyake and Yohji Yamamoto, as well as from industry favourites like Prada, Marc Jocabs, and Michael Kors. Sharp-eyed shoppers quickly scoop up high-end staples and accessories in luxe materials for a fraction of the retail price and I was definitely one of the lucky ones on the day I went. I'm just guttered the beautiful Chole dress for $80 I wanted wasn't quite the right fit - Boo!
