For 3 months, withdrawing money from any ATM, there will be no charge in case there is no minimum balance in the account, the Finance Minister announced on Tuesday.
There is a situation of lockdown and curfew in most of the states due to Coroanvirus in the country. Meanwhile, the country’s Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has made several announcements on Tuesday.
These include extending the date of Aadhaar PAN Linking and also extending the date of ITR Return. With this, the Finance Minister has made another important announcement, after which, if there is no minimum balance in your bank account for the next three months or you withdraw money from another bank ATM, then you will not incur any charge.
Announcing the decisions taken by the government on Tuesday, the Finance Minister said that there will be no charge for the next three months if any back account has less than minimum balance. Similarly, withdrawing money from any other bank’s ATM will not attract any charge.
This means that you can withdraw money from other bank ATMs as many times as you want. This order will also remain in force for the next three months.
However, let us know that SBI has already given relief to its customers on minimum balance and now there will be no charge even if the account has less money than the fixed amount.
Till now, there was a fixed transaction free to withdraw money from other bank’s ATMs and thereafter charges were made for withdrawing money.
Apart from the announcements made today, the last date for depositing income tax has also been increased to 30 June. At the same time, important announcements have also been made about TDS and GST.
