Kava coffee spot in Bratislava

Kava Bar was probably the smallest coffee shop we visited in Bratislava. Cosy and warm, it's a pit stop kinda place with space for a dozen or so people. It was just across from our hotel and just where we needed to be to waken up on this chilly Slovakian morning!

We were just in time for breakfast, seemingly the croissants are good but we had just missed the last ones (grr!). There is also a selection of cakes which change daily.

The interior is shabby chic with newsprint covered tables and mismatching chairs. Somewhere you could quite easily make a couple of hours disappear.

Food

We chose a flat white and a cappuccino. The flat white a strong one, perfect for Mr Foodie whilst the creamy cappuccino was just what I needed.

Mr Foodie picked the yoghurt/muesli/honey deal.

I picked the toasted bread deal, which today consisted of pesto, ham and cheese. 👌

Both came with fresh orange juice, bits and all.

A tasty and relaxed start to the day. This is one coffee spot we would happily return to.
