Stockan's Oatcakes expands range with Waitrose in England and Wales
Stockan's Oatcakes are expanding the sales within Waitrose. Their award winning Orkney Beremeal Oatcakes and Thin Orkney Oatcakes will now be sold UK wide.
Moira Cairns, Business Development Manager from Stockan's, said: "Having started supplying Waitrose in only two Scottish branches over 10 years ago, we are very pleased with the continuing success of our oatcakes across the whole of the UK. Since the launch last year of the Thick Orkney Oatcakes into Waitrose stores in England and Wales, we have enjoyed strong sales and it is the result of this performance that the range is now expanding to include our best-selling Thin Orkney Oatcakes into England and Wales and our award winning Orkney Beremeal Oatcakes UK wide. We feel that this range extension will offer shoppers something new and will provide further healthy choice options".

We have worked with Stockan's in Scotland since 2006 when we first opened in Edinburgh and we are delighted that they have now secured a further two national listings with us. Since Stockan's were introduced to the range in 2006 at a local level and with the one national listing last year, the performance and relationship we've had with them has gone from strength to strength. Their products offer us a real point of difference to what we already have in our Savoury Biscuits fixture and so we are delighted to have worked with Stockan's to bring their amazing oatcakes to more of our customers around the country to enjoy".
