The former art gallery building, and before that Bank of Scotland, at the corner of Pollokshaws Road and Torrisdale Street is the Southside home of Halloumi. We were invited along to sample their wares and see the new site.

Inside is light and spacious with a similar decorative style as the Halloumi site in Hope Street.

Starting with some feta tempura, creamy feta encased in a light batter 😍 Melitzanosalata - roasts aubergine, garlic and olive oil served with warm pita. Even non-aubergine loving Mrs Foodie dived in for a couple of scoops.

Lastly, we couldn't leave without having a gyro. A Halloumi one this time. Grilled Halloumi, tzatziki, red onion inside a warmer flatbread.

As expected the toilets were spotless and the hand dryer experience was epic.
