It’s funny that when you’re online all the time, like me, and see much of what’s happening in fashion online, you spot small shifts in what’s hot and what’s not. The shifts come from all different sources (influencers, designers, blogs, celebrities even) but on the high street a lot is brought to you by what high street brands offer (and is picked up of course, but without supply there’s not much you can do with demand). So when fall started, the big long coat is something we couldn’t get around and it seemed like the only coat we really needed. Now that winter is starting to come close, the oversized coat seems to have to be in our wardrobes already (you still need it!), because the main thing dropping in right now is faux fur. Well, I’m not complaining. This big fluffy leopard piece is going to keep me soft and cuddly this winter, but I’m afraid it may not stop here since there are so many good faux fur coats out there at the moment..
