Flowers to celebrate renewing your vows

Many couples choose to renew their vows for a number of reasons. Whether they are attending the wedding of one of their children or a friend and they wish to take this opportunity for affirmation, or they have been through much together and wish to celebrate their love, it's a wonderful gesture. Unlike the initial wedding, vow renewal is more symbolic and it gives the couple a chance to once again reflect upon their relationship and share their love and joy with those they hold dear.

Your vow renewal ceremony will most likely be quite modest and simple. There won't be quite as much hype as you enjoyed on your wedding day and your nerves won't be of concern either. It's basically all the best bits of your wedding without the wobbly feet and racing heart. Well, your heart might race a bit when you see one another all dressed up, but there's more joy than anxiety.

Like your wedding, you will need to plan such things as what you will wear, how you will do your hair, the food, the decorations, and so on. Part of the décor includes your flower arrangements and, depending on just how sentimental you are, you might like the idea of recreating your wedding. Of course, fashionable trends come and go which means that you might not like the old designs anymore. In this case, you could simply use the same flowers and colours but have your florist create something fresh!

Alternatively, if you want to keep it simple, yet elegant, you could opt for something like potted orchids on each table or an orchid arrangement if you prefer. Other suitable flowers include roses, tulips, and peonies. You could even have a mixed bouquet if you don't want anything too conventional.

Remember, this is your chance to enjoy being the bride all over again! Take the opportunity to really enjoy every moment. Just as your wedding went by in the blink of an eye, so too will the events of this day cause it to speed along faster than you can imagine! Don't spare too many expenses. Even if you are taking a more modest approach, you should still invest in a photographer and have somebody record these memorable moments.
