On Friday we had decided to take a trip round the Cathedral, but first we needed some fuel. Walking on the cobbled streets, being lured by the smell of homemade bread and being faced with a sign which read 'Dine Alfresco On Our Roof Terrace Now Open', on a day so warm and sunny, we couldn't refuse.

All the breads and cakes are home-made literally just in the doorway, and if you don't believe me, pop in and it'll be there in front of your eyes. The bread range is incredible ranging from normal plain loafs to exciting new recipes such as Stilton and Walnut.

There is dining both inside, outside, upstairs, and on the terrace. The terrace was small but was the perfect little sun trap for an afternoon bite to eat. The mirrors worked really well to make the space seem a lot bigger.

There's a nice little story on the back of the menu detailing how the restaurant came about.

And I fitted in well with the branches covering the behind wall in my new floral hair wreath purchased new from a Charity Shop. It felt like a proper summers day.

As I wanted just a light snack I chose from the starter menu and ordered Crab Cake with a Spicy Tomato Sauce. But after looking round to see what had tickled other diners fancy, and seeing a portion of chips on another table displayed like the ones above, I quickly flagged down the waiter and ordered some.

All the dishes were beautifully presented and tasted amazing. The chips were definitely some of the best I've ever tasted. Next time I go there I will be ordering the mussels.

And with a tum full of grub we headed up the cobbled streets towards one of the Cathedral Entrances.

We sneaked in what I called the VIP gate as we were visiting somebody who worked in the grounds... Honest!

The sky was so blue that it was only right to take lots of snaps.

We were quite shocked to come across a cat that seemed rather contempt and at home in the Cathedral.

You would have to visit the Cathedral to appreciate it in all its glory and it is definitely worth a visit. There's lots to do and explore in Canterbury, and I promise you won't be disappointed.
I was then treated to a Longchamp bag which I had my eyes on for ages, I spent ages humming and harring about what colour, so I opted for black as I felt it would go with more outfits. I have already transferred all my contents into it, and I can assure you it will be appearing in an outfit post very soon. I am now back home after living out my holdall bag all week. It's nice to be reunited with my bed and my wardrobe.
