It is currently Thursday night, and yet again, I find myself excessively surfing the internet in celebration of not having school tomorrow. The French school calendar is beyond insane this year, with not one day of school on a Friday (except our last day), because of a range of random holidays. While everything was closed last week for Labor Day, things should be open tomorrow- however, instead of taking a look at the stores, I'll be perusing my lovely AP French book. Despite everyone saying that we're all well prepared and that we shouldn't worry, there's always a sense of doubt with me and standardized tests. Let's just say that I'd rather be in Ibiza wearing sunnies and this high-necked UO dress, tanning beneath a copious amount of palm trees. On top of this dress, I picked up this eyelet cardigan from -you guessed it- the boutique we frequented in Ibiza, which adds for a Grecian type feel that I can't get enough of; summer dressing is a go!!
While I could talk for hours about how quickly our vacation in paradise went, it feels more appropriate to discuss how I leave France in 20 DAYSSSS!!! How did these past 9 months pass so quickly? Looking back on all of the posts I've shared this year on my blog, it seems as if each picture was taken just yesterday- as if our trip to the Loire Valley was only a month or so ago. To make the reality that it is May even crazier, the emails deeming us "soon to be seniors" have already begun rolling in, and I just can't grasp how it's already almost summer. Soon enough, I'll be banging out my college apps and *hopefully* getting my license this summer. Man, does time go quickly. Nonetheless, life must "float on" (hehe), and my excitement for what lays ahead in college and beyond is through the roof. I hope you guys liked this post!
