My Flan recipe, it’s a recipe given to me by my mother when I was a teenager. This has been one of my favorite desserts since I was a little girl. This recipe its super simple, easy to make and actually very delicious. Please take down the ingredients so you can make it and enjoy it the way I do.

1st you put a pot of water to boil.

2nd take a second little heavy pot to make the caramel
We make caramel by taking 1 cup of granulated Sugar on Medium heat and letting it dissolve. Be very careful with this, as caramel is extremely HOT.

3rd Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Please be careful, as all ovens are different.

4th let’s make Flan:
2 Cans Evaporated milk
2 Cans Condensed Milk
4 Eggs (rule is 1 egg per can of milk used)
1tsp of Vanilla (I used Vanilla Bean Paste)
Blend Everything together.

5th Bake in a Bain Marie for 1 hr. (mine wasn’t ready so I did it for 1hr 15 minutes)

6th Let the flan cool down. You can place in the fridge for about 1/2 hour, or at room temperature for 1 hour. It needs to be warm or cold, so once you flip it, it does not break or comes apart.

7th Very carefully try flipping it… make sure you take a knife and running thru the edges to separate and to come out better.

8th Let it cool down in the fridge for a minimum of 1 hr again.

9th Enjoy!!
