This is delicious and very easy to drink! I appear to have drunk most of it whilst booting up the computer and logging onto the blog.
Fizzy Blackberry Cocktail
125ml red wine
25ml Chambord
25ml fresh lemon juice
1tsp caster sugar
6 blackberries (fresh from the hedgerow today!)
I’ve got a bottle of Fragolino Rosso (fizzy red wine) that I haven’t really known what to do with, fizzy red wine in my mind seems a bit wrong….. until now, perfect for a cocktail. Put 4 blackberries in a glass with the sugar and muddle, add the lemon juice, Chambord and ice. Shake and strain into a wine glass full of ice. Pour over the red wine, stir and garnish with the remaining blackberries.
It’s a little Vimtoish in a good way and like I said very easy drinking! Have a great weekend, I’m looking forward to some autumn sunshine tomorrow and spending the day in the garden. Happy gardening.
