Leather Jacket with Studded Collar: Topshop sale, Long-Sleeved Polka Dot Top: H&M, Black Pleated Skirt: Next, Tights: Marks and Spencers, Satchel: Vintage, Tartan Scarf: Topshop, Velvet Pumps: Peppermint, Bowler Hat: H&M, Gold Watch: Casio

This was yesterday's outfit post. I bought this pleat skirt last year from Next and haven't yet worn it, but as I was throwing together a formal look for my day of work I couldn't think of anything better than to throw this on with a pair of tights. My gorgeous bowler hat was a bargain from H&M at £7.99 and goes with a lot of different outfits. Speaking of bargains, my leather jacket was something like £40 from the Topshop sale a couple of years ago, and I have to say, without blowing my own trumpet, I have had a fair few comments about this jacket, and I haven't seen one anywhere as nice as this. At the time, I wasn't that keen on the studded collar, but studs are huge now, and I love it. As much as I love my satchel, I have recently spotted, locally, a real treasure gem: a vintage shop filled with lots of lovely vintage items inc. a dark brown vintage leather satchel, which I think I may have to get my hands on. As much as I love the concept and idea of the Cambridge Satchel company and all the wonderful quirky designs, for a fraction of the price you could have yourself a proper vintage piece with a story behind it. Recently I have been scouting charity shops for some winter pieces and I have found some gorgeous pieces. You don't need to spend a lot these days to have a decent wardrobe.
Can't believe I begin my final year at university tomorrow. Wish me luck!On a more exciting note, I received some emails this week regarding my blog. Watch this space.
Amie
