Fatigue
Lack of sleep breeds fatigue which is in turn very damaging for concentration of mind. Inadequate sleep results in short-term memory and impaired attention. The best is that you should have at least 6-8 hours of sound sleep so that you can get up fresh in the morning and pay proper attention to your associates. If you are suffering from fatigue you will not be able to attend to your guests, the friends or the colleagues, they will be constrained to form a negative opinion about your behavior and attitude.
Occupied Mind
If your mind is occupied by many things-mostly unpleasant- the result will be a reduced activity of the brain. for example, you may not have met the deadline for a task given by your boss or client, you might have forgot to take the medicine for hypertension of you could have had an unhappy meeting with someone. All these may occupy your mind and may create hurdles in your efficient, smooth and cordial relations with others.
If the preoccupation of mind is severe, there is no harm to consult your close friends and well wishers. Take their help to overcome the bad effects of this situation. If the other person is a sympathetic listener and pays good attention to your problems, you will feel relieved. Do not bother about small issue like pending payment of utility bills or some documents in your tray awaiting dispatch. All these are very routine matters and keep coming and going in the mind.
It is good to meditate for sometime before going for a task. This will help in focusing your attention towards right direction and enhancing your concentration.
Doing Many Tasks at a Time
Though human mind is capable of undertaking multiple tasks at a time but the ability of mind to concentrate on a particular task will reduce considerably. If you are talking to your friend or a loved one and at the same time you are going through your note and files pr playing some game on your mobile phone, the person will form a negative opinion about you. Even if the time is calculated in multitasking the person will stand loser. A person wastes lot of time while switching from one task to another and hence may lose the advantage of multitasking.
Losing Interest

If you feel that you are getting bored with a person you should try to have a little break from the scene. You may refresh your mind by indulging in some different activity in between the interaction. You may have a stroll or eat some cookies or drink some fresh juices to get the energy.
Taking Medicines
If you are suffering from hypertension or diabetes and are habitual of taking medicines you may be feeling drowsy while in contact with another person. Even if you miss some medicine the result will be same. The friend or the loved one may take you lethargic attitude as lack of interest and may be constrained to adopt some strategy to counter your moves. It is therefore better if you adopt a healthy lifestyle and refrain from taking too many medicines.
