According to government department five people have test have official tested positive for the Covid-19 virus. While the pandemic has been declared as over by the World Health Organization, the virus is still active.
Accordingly, the total number of Covid-infected people in Sri Lanka is 672,317.
Meanwhile, 2 Covid related deaths have also been reported yesterday (17 May). Public is encouraged to take certain precautions.
