Colpetty Police officers raided a brothel being operated in a building on Galle Road, under the guise of a massage center and arrested five people including the manager yesterday (24).
Police said that the woman arrested for managing this brothel is a 56-year-old resident of Galle.
The other four were arrested on charges of prostitution. A 46-year-old woman resident at Henegama Willimbula, a 27-year-old woman resident of Homagama Pitipana, a 44-year-old woman resident of Dehiattakandiya Mahaweli housing and a 38-year-old woman resident of Thummodara are among those arrested. These suspects were to be produced before the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court.
