Last week I told you about my arms and the flabbiness I began to notice. So I shared some tricep exercises I have been doing. I continue to do them. They are not easy to do. My arms feel like jello when I’m done, but that’s a good sign. First of all it means I haven’t worked those muscles in a while. So they are finally getting worked. So I’m sure I should start seeing results.

I think I’m going to add some more arm exercises to the mix though. I think I should get a total arm workout. So my cousin who’s totally into fitness shared these no weight arm exercises.

So let me explain this.  The wall push ups seem pretty self explanatory.  Standing up at a wall, arms shoulder length apart, palms flat on the wall, push back.  The tricep dips were explained last week.  The plank is a Yoga pose.  Get down on the floor on your stomach.  Push up on your forearms and your toes keeping your body straight.  Your forearms should be bent under you shoulder length apart with your hands clasped together.  Support your weight in your toes and your forearms.  Stay straight and hold this pose for 30 seconds.  This will also work your core.   Or to add a little something to it and really target your shoulders and upper back push your chest forward on your forearms until your face almost touches the floor and push back.  And the push ups are all pretty self explanatory as well.

I guess if I thought I was hurting before, I ain’t seen nothing yet.  But this is what I’m up to this week.  Really working on my arms a lot because the flabby arms really scare me.  That has always been the one skinny thing about me and if that’s going to go, then I have problems.  So I hope I can combat this with nice toned arms.  I’m looking into some leg exercises to focus on for next week.  My cousin has been a real inspiration.  People, the girl is fit and gorgeous.  So when it comes to fitness, I totally listen to her.

Now it’s your turn.  What have you been working on this week?  Any areas of concern?  Tell me all about it.  Grab my button and link up at the bottom with your fitness post for this week.
