Notice the composition. The moon is not centered left to right. That wouldn't work. Why not? because we have the plant coming up into the visual space at the lower right. So the moon must be displaced a bit the left to provide balance. The boat, including the oar, is also a bit to the left. Notice the relative visual "mass" of the moon, the boat, the moon's reflection, and the plant. However, notice how the moon's reflection falls on the water. Is that geometrically correct? Doesn't the position of the reflection on the water depend on the relationship between the observer and the moon, with the reflection being along a sight-line between the observer and the moon? Why the misplacement?
