OWN has released the first look trailer for the upcoming anthology drama 'CHERISH THE DAY' from Ava DuVernay.
Starring Xosha Roquemore as Evan Fisher, and Alano Miller as Gently James, chapter one of the anthology series, chronicles the stirring relationship of one couple, with each episode spanning a single day. The narrative will unfold to reveal significant moments in a relationship that compel us to hold true to the ones we love, from the extraordinary to the everyday.
The legendary Cicely Tyson joins Roquemore and Miller as Miss Luma Lee Langston, a renowned star of stage and screen of decades past. Gently James is Miss Langston's live-in assistant and is encouraged by her wise employer to enter into a romance with Evan Fisher.
Cherish The Day premieres in February on the network.
