Along with the awards, this year’s Spike VGX Game Awards also revealed a couple of key game news announcements and unveiled a bunch of world premiere trailers.
One of the special looking ones was “No Man’s Sky,” from British developer Hello Games.
No Man’s Sky is an exciting mixture between a first person exploration game and space simulation.
Here, you have one of the biggest open worlds you’ll see – the developer saying if you look up at the stars in the night sky, you can literally fly to each of those stars and the various planetary systems that orbit them. It sounds a lot like Elite, older gamers will feel a pain in their hearts with the ability to actually step out of the spaceship.
