The second site for Abandon Ship
The second of ten Abandon Ship bars had its preview night tonight and we were there to have a look around and see what it was like. Taking over what was So LA and before that Chop Chop, maybe this is the incarnation that the site needs.
It’s been a while since Abandon Ship was in Glasgow, do you remember the shop in Princes Square? I still have a skirt in my wardrobe if anyone has an offer! Well it’s the same folks and they have an Abandon Ship bar in Dundee so this is their second of this name. They already have The Luchador on Pollokshaws Road.
Back to the Mitchell Street site. This is no wallflower of a bar. It is jam-packed full. A pickle bar, neon, photo booth, arcade area and much more.

The new restaurant and bar is set across two floors, with the food offering starting next week, once the venue has had time to settle in.
