While we are waiting for the new season of True Blood to return to HBO we need something to take over our addiction until then. We are lucky enough that the True Blood Where Were You comic series is heading to hardcover in December.
The first five issues of the ongoing series will be published in hardback by IDW Publishing. This comic series was written by Ann Nocenti and Michael McMillian (Steve Newlin). The maker of the hit TV show Alan Ball was also in the process of creating the comic book.
Here is a description of what the comic book would be about.
“Alan Ball’s hit HBO series, the sensually sizzling story of the lives and loves of vampires, mind readers, and all manner of creatures, returns as an ongoing series! Do you remember where you were the day vampires came out of the coffin? On the anniversary of the “Great Revelation,” Sookie (Stackhouse) and the crew look back and reflect on the day that changed their lives forever.”
Michael also had something to say about where the comics will start.
“This first volume flashes back to where Sookie, Eric (Northman), Bill (Compton) and Alcide (Herveaux) were when vampires came out of the coffin while they fight a bold new vampire villain in the present!”
So you want to know when you can get this comic book?? Well you can pre-order “True Blood: Where Were You?” and will ship on December 19th just in time for the Holiday season. It is going for $24.99 on HBO.com.
