First Book Haul: April 2015

First Book Haul: April 2015 I can’t really call myself a bookworm. Yet. After completing my 2014 Reading Challenge at Goodreads, I realized that I don’t really own that much of a physical book. Almost all the books that I read are in ebook format. I love ebooks, don’t get me wrong. Since I always have my phone with me, I find it really easy if my books are in my phone too. But it just feels different if you have the book.
Starting this April, I promise myself to buy at least three to five books a month. Well, maybe three lipsticks too. I’m struggling, seriously, on what I should buy first, a book or lipstick. Given that I have enough lipstick, I did a little hauling and bought these books. Hey, it’s my first book haul! Let’s see what I got. First Book Haul: April 2015 The Wicked Will Rise by Danielle Paige This is the sequel to Dorothy Must Die. If you’re into magic and witches, you’ll surely enjoy reading the series. Danielle Paige certainly captured my interest; I can’t wait for the next book.
Falling Into Place by Amy Zhang I’ve been told that if I enjoyed reading the 13 Reasons Why, then I will definitely like Falling Into Place too.  They are so right! I was holding back my tears when I was reading this, I have to hide from my sister because I was crying ugly and I know she’ll laugh at me. First Book Haul: April 2015 Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard Power is a dangerous game. Well, that tagline is enough for me to grab this book and start reading it right away. Plus, the cover is a badass! I’m currently reading this, it’s really interesting so far.
That concludes my first book haul. The Red Queen is the only one left unfinished so I guess that calls for another book haul. Hollow City, Seeker, Better than Perfect, and A Thousand Pieces of You are on my list. Any recommendation on what I should read next? I would really appreciate it! J
