“It’s an emergency!” And Ash and Nic need your help with the rescue! When fireman-obsessed brothers Ash and Nic, turned 4 and 2 respectively, there could only be one theme for their party. Guests were invited to come and help the brothers with a very important rescue mission: some puppies were stuck at the top of a tall building. Guests completed an obstacle course in order to reach and rescue a toy puppy which was then theirs to take home. And so the fun began! With a beautiful dessert table, face painting by The Part Time Pixie and a treasure hunt there was something for everyone at this party! A New York deli-style cheese table with accents of chalk board and marble was also laid out for the adults. “The cheese table was a huge hit with the adults and really made them feel like they were a welcome part of the birthday celebrations,” said Lucia of Something Wonderful Happened. The styling was inspired by a very industrial edge and featured lots of chalk board and kraft paper as well as some faux checkerboard steel- just like the steps on a fire truck. The tradition firefighting color palette of red and black was made more unique with the use of petrol blue instead of the standard yellow. “Every boy loves a fire truck so we wanted to do something that felt a little different for this party.” Styling and planning Something Wonderful Happened http://www.somethingwonderfulhappened.com.au/ Photography Mark Carniato Photography http://www.markcarniatophotography.com.au/ Cakes, cupcakes, cake pops Treats for Evie http://treatsforevie.com.au/ Biscuits The Iced Biscuit https://www.facebook.com/theicedbiscuit/ Fudge Once Upon a Pie http://www.onceuponapie.com.au/ Cake toppers Glistening Occasions http://www.glisteningoccasions.com.au/ Printables Sweet Scarlet Designs https://www.etsy.com/au/shop/SweetScarletDesigns Face Painting The Part-Time Pixie https://www.facebook.com/PartTimePixie/
