Fiona Shaw on Stage in Rime of the Ancient Mariner at BAM

Fiona Shaw (Marnie) is in a new production of Rime of the Ancient Mariner at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. The actress takes the stage at BAM starting December 10th using the words of English poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge who originally published the poem, The Rime of the Ancient Mariner in 1798.

Shaw will be interpreting the poem onstage and be accompanied by dancer Daniel Hay Gordon. The poem is about a mariner who has just returned from sea and stops a man on his way to a wedding and proceeds to tell him a story.

The production runs from December 10th-22nd, 2013 at the BAM Harvey Theatre. Tickets can be purchased here.
