I've been working on two new abstract paintings together so that they would make a pair if someone wanted to hang them that way. Yesterday I finished the first canvas, and today I completed the second.
These paintings are not the same in many respects. First, the backgrounds of each are very different, with the one below much darker. Second, I decided to have the lighter lime and aqua end up closer to the top of the canvas, so I increased the length of each darker color at the bottom and decreased it at the top.
Otherwise, I used the same colors: lime green, aqua, brilliant blue, cobalt blue, ultramarine blue, prussian blue and deep magenta.
