Today I worked at bringing the disparate elements in my latest abstract painting into some kind of coherent whole. I knew it needed more of a focus, a path for the eye to follow. This time I worked with lines, sometimes placing them very close together to create an almost solid effect. I worked over the whole canvas, using a bit of acrylic red and orange, but mostly light blue violet, parchment, and prussian blue.
I think it's getting there, but will reevaluate tomorrow.
