Filling in the Details on New Abstract Painting

By Abstractartbylt @artbylt

I began the huge job of filling in details and texture on this new abstract painting with drawn lines.  I began with titanium white, using it to outline shapes already there, to draw new shapes, or simply to add texture with multiple lines.  I focused the white in the top center of the canvas as well as the outer edges.

Next I continued the same process with cadmium yellow light, focusing it most intensely next to the places where I used the titanium white.  After that I used a light blue and then a cerulean blue.  You can see how sections of the canvas are being built up with detail and color here.

I will continue the process in my next painting session.
