Lisa Dawson, Zac Posen and Linda Gray will be honored at the 2014 FGI Night of Stars Gala
Fashion Group International, Inc. (FGI) provides a high-profile forum to promote the fashion business by hosting events that educate and facilitate the exchange of ideas by giving back to the community. The Night of Stars Gala is one of my favorite events of the year, because when the fashion industry turns out - they TURN. IT. OUT. It's a great night to rub elbows with the fashion all-stars of Dallas: from Brian Bolke of Forty Five Ten, to execs at Neiman Marcus, boutique owners like Connie Segal at Elements to beauty stars like Renee Rouleau, media mavens Maxine Trowbridge from PaperCity to... uh, me! This year's soiree will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, November 14 at the Fashion Industry Gallery (FIG). Fashion Group International of Dallas (FGI of Dallas) announced last month that designer Zac Posen would receive the Career Achievement in Fashion Award at this years gala. As if that wasn't exciting enough, this week FGI of Dallas announced that Todd Fiscus would receive the Career Achievement Award in Event Design and Lisa Dawson would be honored with the Career Achievement Award in Business. In addition, Linda Gray will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award and Nancy Rogers will be presented with the Art Patron of the Year Award. YOWZA!
“This year’s award winners are well-respected individuals, who continue to inspire the fashion business and community. FGI of Dallas plans to host its Rising Stars event in February of 2015 at the Galleria Dallas, which is an event featuring Dallas’ up-and-coming fashion icons who are already making big waves in the fashion industry across the United States.
