David Feherty, professional golfer and television personality, will grace the stage of the Hard Rock Café tonight for Feherty Live! with guests Gary Player, Lee Trevino, Butch Harmon and more to come. Following the acclaim that surrounded his first two live shows featuring the likes of superstars Michael Jordan, Michael Phelps and Tim Tebow, golf's funnyman David Feherty will join the thousands of golfers descending on Orlando this week for the annual PGA Merchandise Show. He'll be hosting his first live show of 2013 on Golf Channel which will be shot in front of a live studio audience at Hard Rock Live at Universal Orlando Resort
Feherty, whose series has been described by The New York Times as “a cross between Oprah Winfrey and Johnny Carson,” has been dubbed “one of the funniest men in the game” by Yahoo! Sports. The off-beat humor and compelling interviews that have become a Feherty trademark will be on full display during one of the busiest weeks on the golf calendar. Feherty Live airs on the eve of the annual PGA Merchandise Show, which attracts thousands of people from around the world who work in the golf industry.
“David’s quick wit has proven to be a real drawing card for these live shows, but he also delivers moments with real heart in his interviews,” said Golf Channel President Mike McCarley. “The energy of the live audience and their reaction to the surprise moments have played a large part in the success of the previous live shows at the Super Bowl and Ryder Cup. We look forward to this next Feherty Live special for a live audience of passionate golfers during one of the biggest weeks in golf.”
Despite the Hard Rock being booked solid, this is definitely a must watch event. Tune in to Feherty Live tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET, only on the Golf Channel.
