After a somewhat warm Saturday afternoon, late Saturday night we were outside enjoying the backyard with friends and we literally felt the cool front come in. We enjoyed it for about 3 minutes and then it started to down pour. That being said, we woke up Sunday to crips fall temperatures and could not have been more excited.

Looking ahead at the weather for the week, it looks like Dallas is finally going to get a ‘taste’ of fall and I cannot wait. This is my favorite time of year to be in Dallas because of the lovely temperatures and now that we have a new baby, I cannot wait to be outside with Ralph all week!

Besides the cooler temperatures, I also love this time of year because of the wardrobe. In my opinion, it is such an easy time of year to be casually dressed and still look so put together. My favorite combination is a simple sweater, a pair of distressed jeans and a pretty shoe.

I cannot wait to bring out more of my favorite sweaters from seasons past this week and really enjoy these beautiful Dallas temperatures!
