Fly a Kite Day

National Molasses Bar Day
- Molasses was first discovered during the 1500s in Europe. It was commonly used there as a sweetener in baking until the invention of refined white sugar. Molasses was not forgotten though. Its distinctive taste is still desired in many recipes including gingerbread, sauces, cookies, toffee, baked beans, fruitcake, and molasses bars. National Boy Scouts Day (1910)

On February 8, 1910, Chicago publisher William Dickson Boyce filed incorporation papers in the District of Columbia to create the Boy Scouts of America. The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) is one of the largest youth organizations in the United States, with over 4.5 million youth members in its age-related divisions. Since its founding in 1910, as part of the international Scout Movement, more than 110 million Americans have been members of the BSA.

- Recognition of laughter's power to add to the bottom line. People who laugh are more effective and tend to remember things better, and laughter helps to lower the turnover rate.
