Egyptian Mau The Egyptian Mau is the fastest of all the domestic cats and has been known to reach speeds of 30 mph, making the Egyptian Mau a keen predator, probably due to the fact that the Egyptian Mau has longer back legs than most cats.

A pure-bred Egyptian Mau is fairly rare to find today as most has adopted attributes of other species. The Egyptian Mau is a descendant of the African wild cats and is well known for its intelligence.
