Featured Abstract Artist: Dale Witherow

By Abstractartbylt @artbylt

What I love about abstract artist Dale Witherow's paintings are the quirkiness in his choice of color and form.  The various pieces all work beautifully together, resulting in a sense of adventure for the viewer to explore.

 Street Fair 1
STREET FAIR, 36" x 36" acrylic on canvas by Dale Witherow.

Dale says his current work "is about the energy exchange in conversations and relationships. The relationships are familial, social, literary, visual, etc…. anything that nudges a genuine emotional response. Much of my work is a map of those exchanges and the color indicates the processing."

#106--Metro-1
METRO I, 12" x 23" acrylic on canvas by Dale Witherow.

Dale has exhibited his paintings in galleries on the east coast, the southwest, Mexico, and now the Pacific Northwest.  He also has work in many private and corporate collections.  In April of 2012 he will have a solo exhibition at Gallery IMA, 123 S Jackson St., Pioneer Square, in Seattle, Washington.

 Bathysphere 1

In addition to Dale's art website, you can also see his paintings at FineArtAmerica.  If you're in the Seattle area, be sure to catch his exhibit in April at Gallery IMA.
