Just in time for Christmas! Streetwear Brand Fear of God has released a Jay-Z-Inspired Capsule Collection.
On Thursday morning, Jerry Lorenzo released his latest Fear of God collection, inspired by Jay-Z and his latest album 4:44.
“JAY is the muse,” Fear of God designer Jerry Lorenzo told Vogue. “We wanted to modernize Jay’s approach and contribution to fashion through our lens. JAY gave us feedback and direction along the way. He’s a true artist in every sense of the word.”
Lorenzo also drew inspiration from the Bible verse John 4:44 that reads:
“A prophet is without honor in his own country.” A passage he and Jay-Z team agreed aligned with the message the rap ICON wanted to deliver on his latest album.
