Plot: A driven lawyer returns to her hometown to oversee a corporate merger. While there, she stumbles across new information that calls into question her mother’s involvement in a horrific murder-suicide twenty years earlier. Attempting to reconnect with her estranged sister, they’ll have to work together to follow the clues and stay alive long enough to uncover the truth.

Story: Faultline starts when Paige (Harrison) returns home for a business deal. It gives her a chance to visit her estranged sister Jessie (Lankester) and face the murder-suicide involving their mother. The two have always had tension in the aftermath and they get to spend more time together.
However, once Paige starts looking at the deal, she starts to question the incident. It takes her down a dangerous path but one which could answer the questions she never got the answers for.
Verdict on Faultline

The movie follows a lawyer who returns to her home town for her latest deal. She gets to reconnect with her sister and makes a discovery about her mother’s death and it does not appear to be what she was told for years.
Best Parts
This movie does create a mystery while showing the difference between sisters. They have struggled since their mother’s death and now it is time to uncover the truth. The mystery in place has plenty of twists and turns, that keep us guessing to the truth. Mixed in with the sister’s relationship getting to come together again. The performances from the leading pair are strong and show a bond of sisterhood and the strength in business world.
Worst Parts
In the negatives, there is a lot of jumping to conclusions, which many detective stories have. Even if the suggestion ends up leading to the next clue. This can also lead to disruption in the sister’s lives and what they want to achieve with the latest investigation.
Final Thoughts –Faultline creates an interesting mystery that keeps you guessing throughout.
