Fatal Attraction ~ Man Asks Compensation for Crashing After Ogling at a Woman !!

Fatal Attraction, released in 1987 is an  American psychological thriller film centering on a married Manhattan man who has a weekend affair with a woman who refuses to allow it to end, resulting in her becoming obsessed with him. Aviation safety experts have realized for some time that aircraft incidents and accidents almost always result from a series of events, each of which is associated with one or more cause factors.  On road there are many accidents – of which,  a staggering amount of serious car accidents are caused by distracted drivers.  In order to safely drive a vehicle on road, one must give the road your full attention.  Drivers that divert their awareness — whether it’s to talk on their cell phone or send text messages to their friends — risk the lives of the other drivers on the road.  Distracted driving is dangerous because, while drunk driving usually occurs at night, automobile accidents caused by distracted drivers can all day.  The commonest distractions are : talking on a cell phone; texting on wheels; reaching for a moving object inside the vehicle; adjusting the seat; fiddling with the music system or any gadget; looking at an object or event outside of the vehicle; eating food, applying make-up, drowsing, drooling !..  .. ..  Away in UK, in a reported incident, terrified Megabus passengers booted their driver off a bus mid-journey after he started falling asleep behind the while. More than 50 passengers staged a revolt on the service from London's Victoria coach station to Cardiff, when the driver started swerving dangerously between lanes on the M4. The Megabus was an hour into its 160-mile journey when passengers suspected their driver was nodding off and made him pull into Membury service station in Berkshire The age of the driver does matter ~ We expect mistakes from young drivers, and the first few years are pretty risky. According to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), drivers ages 16-19 are three times more likely to crash than drivers over 20. These novice drivers cause significantly more car accidents than seniors: The United States Census Bureau calculates 12.2 percent of car accidents are the responsibility of teen drivers while 7.5 percent of accidents are caused by drivers over 65. .. .. then there is another attraction of a different kind. Some statistics in UK reveal that  29 per cent of men admitted being distracted by short skirts and low-cut tops in the Summer weather, leading to record numbers of accidents on the roads.  According to an Insurer, in one given year, men made 16.4 per cent more claims during the Summer than in any other month. The insurance company also found that a quarter of male drivers have had at least one summertime crash or very near miss in the last five years, compared to just 17 per cent of women. Now read this interesting report that appeared in The Sun and MailOnline of a  motorist demanding  to be compensated for damage to his care after clipping his wing mirror while ogling a British show jumper as he drove past. Vicky Young was cycling in a skirt and bikini top around her village near Bottesford, Leicestershire, when the driver became distracted and mounted the pavement.  He clipped his wing mirror on a post box, then drove directly to her parents kennels in the village to complain and demanded money for the damage.  Miss Young posted this message on Facebook explaining what had happened after the driver arrived at her parents' kennels in Bottesford, Leicestershire.  Her parents, former Spurs and Nottingham Forest defender Willie Young, 64, and her mother Lynda, 65, refused, but Vicky was furious about it. Miss Young, 40, wrote on Facebook: 'I surely don't have to pay for someone's smashed up wing mirror because he went up the pavement and hit it when I cycled past in other direction? Do I? Friends commented on the post and she revealed that the driver had referred to her outfit as a 'bra and belt' when talking to her parents.
