Fashion Wednesday: The D’Orsay Flats

By Simone Design Blog @HomeSpire

I have a confession to make: I’m a “shoe-aholic”. I just love a good pair of shoes. My favorite shoes are flats; I prefer them for their practicality and comfort. You can just slip them on and go. You can go do your errands or have a coffee at the cafe and still be stylish. Last year I was in love with ballet flats, which are fun to wear and easy to pack in a suitcase (just fold them up and put them in). This year, however, my new shoe style is the D’Orsay flat. These shoes are pointy toe numbers that can be worn with capris, shorts, summer dresses, jeans… you name it! They’re great to wear when you’re traveling by air, as they’re easy to remove when going through the airport security. They come in variety of design styles, colors and fabrics. They’re much more stylish than a traditional pair of flats and they make a strong fashion statement.

I put together a collection of D’Orsay flats that caught my eye.
